Thats the whole point of the game. To automate Crafting
Yes, the initial setup is pretty slow. Scaling up is quite a bit faster, since a single conveyor can feed one machine or many.
Alright.
Three Manufacturers
Thirteen Assemblers
Fourty-six Constructors
Four Foundries
Fifteen Smelters
Six Miners
Four Refineries
One Oil Extractor
Thirty Mergers
Fourty-one Splitters
And all the belts.
This includes the previously-mentioned line for the industrial beams, to result in Adaptive Control Units. Wanna say again how it just gets faster?
Also setting up the factory is a one time effort and when next you need the product it is waiting for you to pick it up.
handcrafting is only faster in the short term.
You've set up a straw man for yourself I think.
i still run out of ironplates and need to farm manually....
it's part of the game - i DO wish the craft bench would craft faster though m- but it forces you to expand rather then stay idle
You do realise automations greatest achievement os mass production right?
Its worth lies not in the first product or the first 10 even
its in the exponential potential of the whole setup....
try producing the 2000 Frameworks for the Assembly by hand and tell me handcrafting is faster
Why are we (re)building an entire factory for this?
Unless everything up to this point has been hand-crafted, there should already be a Concrete plant and a Steel Mill. So, the only thing needed would be an Assembler and two containers.
Well, the 2 things I would suggest would be to automate your lines to craft stuff. You will need to hand craft items throughout the game at times, but it's best to setup automation on every resource you can- and multiple sources because you will not be producing enough automatically at first to not handcraft also.
2nd thing you should do, assuming your on windows 10.
Go to searchbar near your windows button- go to "Mouse Settings"
on the far right click "additional mouse options"
on the bottom- click "Turn Click Lock On"
Now when you hold the mouse button down for 3 seconds, it will stay "engaged" if you go take a ♥♥♥♥ or take a shower. Get use to this function until you automate your factory- which will be satisfactory when you get that all setup.
