That can't be right.
According to Satisfactory Wiki, it takes 4000 assembly directors, 4000 magnetic field generators, 1000 nuclear pasta and 1000 rockets to earn the "employee of the planet" golden cup. We're not even sure if this unlocks tier 9.

Have you seen the recipes for these? Gonna make an update 3 "megabase" look like a starter.

25% of that might be reasonable. This isn't crypto mining.

I assume it's just a placeholder or was done as a joke.

I'm not at tier 8 yet, but do we know if the employee of the planet cup even does anything? if it's just a cosmetic reskin of the regular cup then there is hardly anything important about unlocking it.

I know Tier 9 100% isn't in the game yet, update4 is just about tier 8.

I wonder how all this gigantic machinery is supposed to fit on the project assembly framework. That's only 500 smart plating!
Mystictornado Mar 23, 2021 @ 7:29pm
im fairly sure that is right, and It is just a re-skin of the regular cup. I think its just as a fun little side thing for progressing so far into update 4 simply for bragging right

There might be an tier 9 in the future, but there is no T9 content in the game as of yet, and probably wont be for some time, given how U4 is only on experimental aswell.

if one goes back to the copper wire to produce an assembly director (including the use of copper wire and cable in other components than the Automated Wiring) one calculates over 2.5 million spools of wire. It would take a singe constructor 14,000 HOURS of operation to make this much cable. Since the total number of constructors is limited by the total quantity of Miner Mk III copper ore mined (assuming use of every copper resource on the planet) there is a limit to the number of simulations constructors in use. If this is supposed to be a joke it isn't very funny.

Look up "A winner is you" on TVtropes. It'll make more sense as that's in line with CS's sense of humor.

Yes, the base need using the regular automated wiring recipe is 2.4M wire. Yeah that's a lot. You could hand feed production machines even on the third delivery even though it started to get a bit cumbersome. This last one is a bit crazy. You HAVE to automate at least some parts. You can set up automation early on and just accumulate some of the more base parts in container towers and do something with it later. It ain't much, but it's honest work :)

There will probably be 2 more tiers. Quantum Computers and Superposition Oscillators are still not in the game. I'm guessing there will be one more elevator delivery as part of the story. I shudder to think what that will need if they don't plan on adjusting what the last delivery needs.

no its not a joke its real. im at this point now and everytime i get in the game i have no clue to get there ....

I setup a Drone hub to make these 4 items this past weekend. Each component is being made by two constructors. 3 of the items have completed and I'm only struggling with the Assembly Director System. Still need over 2.5k of these. Reason, not enough Adaptive Control Units being made, reason not enough Automated Wiring or Computers. I need to increase Cable's and make a whole new factory for Computers. However to do that I need more power so currently setting up my first Nuclear power .. have 30 plants in place just need to finish the part of the factory that will deal with the waist. THEN, I can afford to increase the production of Adaptive Control units and computers.

Do you guys not have portable miners?

Surprised this got resurrected.
This does say somewhere that this is the "final" elevator project(s). Whether that remains true is yet to be seen but it does indicate that it is not optional to progress to the next tiers. The novelty cup is a trophy but the project is real.

If it is the "final" project, quantum computers and superposition oscillators will have another purpose.

Wasn't paying attention to the dates.

Just to note, the delivery says "The Final Phase of Early Access". Could be if there are more tiers and another delivery, they'll come after 1.0 release.

There will be for sure 2 more tiers.
Those 4 have been tough, but only in terms of waiting. Once you have set up the infrastructure [ the production of the components of course was already there, you only had to increase the output, or wait longer ], you can busy yourself with setting up nuclear plants, build new train tracks, explore caves and collect slugs etc. This is what I did and "suddenly" after one week all parts were constructed an the tiers finished.
Not a big thing.
