How to locate power shards?
Is there an easy way to locate power shards or I just have to remember where I put them?

In general, don't waste effort using power shards on recipe machines. Not only do the machines incur a penalty of extra high power demand, the sheer number of machines end up nearly impossible to track in any mortal way.

Spend your shards on increasing overall resources. Miners have a finite output, and the only way to increase that is with shards. Water extractors are also acceptable if you find lake size limiting, and power generators have no particular penalty to being overclocked. Keep your shards in these locations. There's very little reason to move them again after being placed, or at least it won't be too difficult to find them again.

Machines with shards in them will have a white light instead of the usual red/yellow/green one above them. You can also mouse over your machines with the deconstructor tool equipped to see what resources you'll get from deconstructing them, which would include a power shard in the list if one is in it.

In short no. you just have to remember them.

However, you could upload the save to the interactive map and quickly check the inventory of containers and boxes, and buildings. Or, use it to inject some into a container.

Easiest place to remember is the HUB storage

Did not know you could do that for extractors thanks for that helpful little tid bit.
