Can't craft batteries, what am I missing?

Tier 7 was completely unlocked before update 4, so I should be able to craft batteries.

I see the battery there in the techtree "aeronautical engineering" which is completed (hub). But there is no recipe neither in the workbench nor the manufacturer...

Is this a bug?

Searched MAM, but there is no battery to unlock...

So what am I missing? Do I have to find a harddisk?

It is made in the Blender, it is like 1 of 4 things it makes

There is also an alternate recipe (experimental branch) that does not use liquids to make batteries, if you can find it.
You can then make it in the manufacturer

thx ... maybe one day I'll do a run for HDs... but for now I refuse as I'm a very poor fighter XD

Never underestimate the power of a suitable quantity of explosives. Don't really have to fight unless you want to.

Might give it a try... beasts got too tough by now... rifle takes almost 10 shots for the medium/smaller beasts :D

You need to hit the smaller beasts 10 times with the rifle?
Then i will not build one. Because you have to hit them 2 to 3 times with the xenobasher and they are dead.
