Look, the game is early access. Alot of things can happen during that period, that is what you sign up for when buying early access. You have the right to give them you opinions. I don't think you have the right to say they f***** you for not implementing a feature before full release.
I understand that you feel that you made the wrong purchase. But back when you bought Satisfactory, did they promise crossplay with Steam? No? Did your friends buy the Epic release also? Or did they wait for the steam release and you didn't?
For me, Steam matters, I waited.

In the future, don't buy games you want to play with Steam-friends on another Drm.

Anyway, Coffee Stain has made the effort to implement crossplay. So you have it. What are you whining about?

Open a MP game, look into the MP settings, copy the ID and tell it to your friend ...

To share your seesion ID with friends: Load your game. Open the game menu (ESC key) . Click on Manage Session > Session Settings. Change game type to friends only if it isn't already. Click on the copy to clipboard option by session ID. paste it in a chat to your friend(s).

To join a session: On the title screen, click Join. At the bottom, there is a join by session ID option. enter the session ID from your friend.

Whoever you want the host to be must load up the save, then press "esc" to open the menu in the menu they need to go to "Manage Session" then "Session Settings". In that menu they need to share the session ID either by pressing the show ID button or copying the ID to clipboard to send to whoever is joining. As in this screenshot:

has nothing to do with it, first off i've owned the game since the Closed Alpha .. plus it was only 10 bucks on epic when i actually purchased the EA release, then here on steam i only picked it up a few months back. has nothing to do with having lots of money. timing was all it was.
