As of buffing the zipline, ti should be faster, IF you get an upgrade. Possibly make the upgrade consume some form of power pack as energy or ammo.
totally useless
Yeah what this guy said. I had started a new game in the northern forest, built along near the cliffside. I had set up some bounce pads and jelly to make scaling up and down the cliffside safer, but in the end I usually just ended up ziplining up and down the powerline to the base below and typically just ignored the bounce pads. It was just faster to zipline because it was vertical *and* horizontal movement at the same time, rather than having to run to and from the bounce pads.
I thought the jumping part to evade poles made it feel more parkouresque(?) instead of just holding mouse button like a nerd.
Devs shouldn't make something ♥♥♥♥♥♥ just to force players to use something equally ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and not up to the task the player is trying to perform.
Just like the devs shouldn't refuse to add a flying vehicle just become the players who don't want them added to the game don't have the self restraint to just not use them.
