Accelerate Time?
I haven't played since they added atomic power. Is there a way to fast-forward time yet? If not, I hope it's on a suggested features board somewhere.

It's not a competitive multiplayer game, it would be optional, and it's a million times better than what I was doing anyway which was leaving my PC on idling my factory.

The Mr. AntiFun / WeMod trainer has a Game Speed booster. HDDs scan in about 1 minute 45 seconds instead of 10 minutes. Great way to make slow things go by quickly. However, it does speed up the entire game, so things that require regular attention will require it sooner, like biomass burners. Also, it affects your movement, so don't run around too much or you'll break stuff when it tries to load new assets too quickly.

I am apparently one of those masochists that wants more time sensitive, efficiency driven tasks added to the game. Yes, you can complete every single project by starting the production and leaving your computer for 12 hours, but then what's the point of even playing? I'd like to see random, time limited efficiency tests that require you produce a set number of a product in a given time frame. I'd like to see project assembly missions with just grotesque requirements for the number of items needed that would take literal weeks to complete without putting in some effort to exploit more of the map's resources and set up efficient productions. I'd like to see more complex parts and productions, better merger/splitter blocks for managing multi-resource belts, more depth added to the awesome sink shop, anything that encourages the player to actually play the game rather than just leave the game running for hours. A four year old could beat the game that way. You are better at gaming than a four year old, aren't you?

Im doing the exact same, im sitting here watching shows while the factory runs so i actually going to get my mats to do anything else.

Atleast in Factorio i could just throw more resource lines at problems to tackle them, here everything is slow even expanding outside. Taking up all the resource nodes like some crazed hoarder atleast in my opinion shouldnt be the only way to make game progress faster.

I have never let my pc sit idle while I just wait for resources to accrue. If I found I needed more resources for whatever reason, I would go out and get some more. If I only needed something temporary, then I would do something else in game while the machines ran. How about hunting for more hard drives? Look for some of the more difficult finds for their rarer items scattered about I know I will need in the future.
