All should set their networkquailty to ultra in the options.
And in the wiki, there is a temporaly fix for mp. (sorry, no link).
(and do not play with me, I have only 3.000kbit speed on my internet and there are 7 rigs in my LAN)
1) Multiplayer is game is INCREDIBLY unstable. Here are some tips.
2) The more "Stuff" the Laggier and more unstable it gets. If your multiplayer crew is building a BUNCH of Sky Ways, Snake Belts, just throwing stuff around EVERYWHERE and isn't tight and very clean in their building structure. Stuff is GUNNA get pretty unstable pretty DAMN fast. Don't do this crap.
3) No one, absolutely NO ONE other than the host can do Vehicles. This is why passenger seats were removed from Vehicles pretty much the instant they were introduced. If you're not the host, you're gunna fall through the world and die. Period. So be careful with Vehicles. This also means trains, which will, and always do, break. This makes shipment of goods from one end of the map to the other almost impossible.
I STRONGLY recommend the Teleport Storage MOD to fix this issue and have no need for Vehicles. Just one thing, If you DO use that mod, build the Teleport Hub somewhere distant, plug it into the network, and wall it off. That work bend is bugged and will lock you in place. It just needs to be powered. After that, all Item Teleporters work smooth as butter and are very easy to maintain and use. Their UI is quick and easy and it's actually a life saver for multiplayer.
4) Otherwise, don't use a lot of mods. Don't use Micromanger or stuff like that. While mods are awesome and are amazing, and are wonderful -- Multiplayer gets more unstable the more they are used. Which sucks, and it's why I'm sad we have no Dedicated Servers, cus Mods really make this game 1000 times more enjoyable. Without mods, simple tasks that could take minutes, instead takes hours and it feels like a real waste of time.
