How do I use blueprints?

satisfactory-calculator.com has helped me a lot with calculations and other stuff. There are some great looking blueprints on there as well, but how do I use those cbp files in my game, or even create my own?

I feel like I'm missing something obvious. I've looked through the mods and seached the web but I really can't find it...

Blueprints are not in the game, think there is a mod for that, but no idea where.

There's a mod called Factory Skyline[ficsit.app] but I don't think it accepts blueprint files. However, it does let you copy/paste/edit/spam a design you made.

edit: I found a youtube video about it. You basically use the satisfactory calculator website to edit your save file.

you need to download the BP, then upload your save file to the Interactive Map. theres a button on the map that looks like a computer chip, click that a window appears. drag and drop (just like you had to for you save file) onto the large area in that window.

if you just want to take a look at the BP in a empty world i suggest creating one first, use the Paste in original position option for ease of use. if you would like it in a location of your choice then you'll need at least one foundation to paste the BP to. simply right click the foundation and select Spawn around Foundation, make sure you choose No for the "Use materials from Player inventory" option.

And yet the blueprints on that side include .cbp files and says you "paste" them somewhere. What's that for if not importing/exporting designs.

I'll take a look at that mod though, seems very promising

i just gave you step by step instructions on how to use the BPs from the Satisfactory Calculatory/ Interactive Map site.

Looks like we both sort of posted at the same time and I missed it. Thanks for the pointers!

Anyway, so it works by editing the bleuprints into your save file? I'm not sure I particularly like it that way, but I will be using it especially for the big coal plants.
