Tired of holding lmb to craft
Seriously is there anyway to toggle crafting or do I just have to continue balancing something on my mouse to optimize laziness

Spacebar also works. I think there's also some option in the mouse controls for Windows 10 that allow you to click and hold for a short period before it "locks" your mouseclick on.

And... y'know... automating things.... this is an automating game.

I thought about using FAST CRAFT BENCH mod https://ficsit.app/mod/Ax36UZju4QjeCf to speed up things. But game crashed when I used mods.

You can also press and hold Space key, by putting some heavy object on it.

haha yeah i know that would be the obvious answer but sometimes you just gotta knock out 4k screws because waiting is not an option! lol

i didnt know space key worked thank you as it should be much easier than my phone or (name object) on my lmb lol

Container + Constructor = stop using the craft bench for anything but one-offs in the field.

sure it's up to you how you play...
just a suggestion:
if you automate a short sequence for e.g. screw production, it will take only little time until you got a container filled.
one miner mk.1 on a 'normal' node feeds two smelters, two smelters produce enough for four constructors producing rods, those are enough for SIX constructors making screws, they will take TEN MINUTES only to fill one container, this is three times as fast as you at your workbench.

or in one word - automate

The Enter/Return key also works once you first use LMB to start crafting.

Find something that can sit next to your keyboard and reach over to your spacebar. Position it so it can spam the spacebar for you. I use a brass fish placed upside-down. It's heavy enough and the fishes' tail reaches perfectly from the bottom of my keyboard to the spacebar. lol

Use a programmable keyboard and set a key up using the toggle feature. Click on/off.

My main issue is that MSI seems to have made the keyboard on my system a part of the cooling solution. I have caught my space bar reaching temps as high as 118F. My system is not overheating or anything, the keyboard just gets hotter than hell.

can only begin to imagine whatever it is you are talking about

I set a macro on my mouse for Satisfactory, when I click it, it holds left mouse button down. It's not that difficult to do with Logitech GHUB. Can't imagine it being very hard to do with any decent mouse/keyboard.

one of the side buttons on my mouse is a macro setting thing, i figured that out via google, was just curious, interesting to see everybody's methods however lol, i just built a two story factory at about 500,000 sq meters so ive got plenty automation going on in there now lol it looks like rats nest like any other piece of american infrastructure might

before mods i just made a macro that simulates holding left click down. when i AFK i just sit at the bench with that. power free crafting!
Hugh Manatee Oct 29, 2020 @ 8:15pm
You can keep your mods, macros and programmable keyboards. I have a brass fish that does the same job. No one else has a state-of-the-art, bad ass, brass fishy. LMAO! =P
