so, you want eight of the presets for the color gun be simple red, yellow, green, cyan, blue, magenta, white and ... Kay (black)?
and what about the second color for the preset?
since the number of presets is quite limited, I would rather support some pre-chose buttons within the 'edit preset' palette... there basic combis to chose colors would be helpful, also for these elemental colors you named.
additionally, I would like to see the color gun coloring "personal storage" boxes.
was the first that I tried since I wanted to mark what I stored inside. was very disappointed it didn't work.
With the new upgrade, there will no longer be 16 masks each having a different color corresponding to a preset. There will be one skin, and it can be colored to whatever, so the number of presets should be virtually unlimited after the engine upgrade.
These new "primary" colors would be solid, so they would have no secondary: the primary and secondary would be the same color.
K is black, yes.
imagine this color be "spectral", like FF0000 for red, it would even be hurting the eyes.
a table of predefinitions would not be bad, and sure then the basic spectral colors should be part of it, but it should be much more allover. remember how many preset colors the windows internal color requester has meanwhile? and it's still kinda crap.
I liked my "colors.inc" include file for the POVRay raytracer that predefined nearly hundred colors by name, such as "midnightblue" and "darkslategrey".
but I would rather ask for the possibility to add such a preset list on my own in form of a XML file or such, instead of asking the devs to include my "two dozen most favourite color codes of all times"....
I use my solid presets on single-color objects like fences, walls, pipes, power poles & outlets, belts, splitters, etc.
Being able to upload colors would be awesome.
I really just want to enter my colors as hex numbers instead of having to look up a color conversion table just to enter my color preferences. In school you're taught that red + green = yellow - fitting perfectly into the RGB color model, you're not taught any other color space rules like HSL or CMYK or any of the dozens of other attempts to create a color space rule set.
THIS!
