At least, it seems to work on a baby setup.
How many stops?
One train line should be made up of:
[<-Station 1]{Platform*N}Track{Platform*N}[Station 2->]
Sounds like yours might be setup:
[Station 1->]{Platform*N}Track{Platform*N}[<-Station 2]
or are you using 2 Station per stop? (Double Locomotive?)
[<-Station 1](empty platform){Platform*N}Track{Platform*N}(empty platform)[Station 2->]
1 forward engine
2 freight cars
1 backwards engine
Each stop consists of:
1 forward train platform
2 freight stations
1 backwards train platform
I have also tried to have just 1 train platform per stop, be then I get an error advising it cannot go to the next stop.
I have done the same layouts in those videos -- they are the videos I was referring to -- and it still does not work. I have done so many different combinations and still nothing works.
I have flipped around the train station facings many times too -- still does not help. They really need to fix in-line trains.
