FIcsmas Wonder star not showing in assembler

I found information that the star is suppose to be made in the assembler, but I;m not even seeing an option for it. is this a known bug?

It is not a bug and your information is incorrect.
Read the info on the Calendar again ;)

All of the Ficsmas Tree upgrades (the trunk of the tree) are unlocked via the Calendar in the Hub.
The Giant Ficsmas Tree base was on the 1st
The Red ornamental ball was on the 4th
The Ornamental cluster was on the 5th
So, the Wonder Star, will be on the 11th (00:01 GMT on Friday)

I tend to build smelters next to my miners, so I bring ingots to my factory instead of ore. I think is not that hard to miss since you only use them once to... well, turn ore into ingots, not crafting anything? IMO

i'm just saying, its a factory game .. holiday theme doesn't change this and after i first looked in the production machines and found nothing all that was left was smelters and foundries since all other possibilities were a bust. lol

No, but you can load your savegame into the interactive map and search for it. The Star is indestructible afaik.
