FICSMAS Gift Tree

The description states "It comes bearing gifts. Produces 15 Gifts per minute." Does it actually do that? Observing it for several minutes I did not see any gifts appearing near it whatsoever.

Ps.: Don't get me wrong - I like the tree. Its so beautiful. :)

Ive gotten as far as I can without bows. Ive even got the candy cane basher and could put up decorative canes except for the bow deficiency.

Unlock the next tier in the same way... outer branches first and then the centre.

I'd already done both sides, and there wasnt any bow option. But now a half hour or so after I did the research, there are bows available in the constructor. It seems to take time to appear?

there was no delay on my end, bows unlocked right away for me. are you in a coop game?

I unlocked the red and blue decorations in the tech tree but cant build them with any machine. Am I doing something wrong?

1 red ball + 1 copper ingot = 1 copper ball (orange)
1 blue ball + 1 iron ingot = 1 iron ball (white)

I've settled for 8 trees or 120 gifts per minute, which is fine by me ;)

I hear ya. I am at four trees now and I sacrificed a whole side of my main factory to accommodate Santa's workshop. Now there's gifts and ornaments and all sorts of christmas decorations every where. Yet I have to build a train and more fuel generators and a roof and a sulfur production line and ...
I guess that's how Santa must be feelin these days. :D

Sure thing. Simply interact with the Calender as if you would open a chest. From there on its just point and click - find a number and click it.

Hmm? What do you mean by that?
Clicking on Gift Trees does nothing.
Gift trees produce gifts when you automate them by connecting a conveyor to them.
The Gift Drops are analogous to the mineral nuggets you click to mine and the Gift Trees are analogous to the mineral nodes that you mine via automation.
The Ficsmas event is entirely appropriate to the ethos of the game. It hasn't turned Satisfactory into anything it is not.

Hints for the star production:

With 10 trees you can produce 1 star/minute because you need 150 gifts for one star (means you need 30090 in total).

Splitting with trees is mach more easy than with just one container
30 gifts for red ornament -> 2 trees
22.5 gifts for blue ornament -> 1.5 trees
37.5 gifts for branches -> 2.5 trees
60 gifts for canes -> 4 trees
