My children love this game and I had to answer many, many questions regarding FICSMAS to help them along. Who helps the children with inattentive parents? Who helps the orphans? Get some perspective.
I don't expect there to be many toddlers playing this game or navigating these forums. What I do expect is the "over-convenienced" generation to immediately come here any time they have a question, rather than take the time to learn themselves.
i have 3 kids of my own btw.
*head pats* I do not need to justify peoples actions, sit back and enjoy the game dude. Happy holidays!
... btw ... what is a
It's a valid point and nobody is raging.
People should search to see if their questions have been answered first before posting a new discussion topic asking a question that has already been asked and answered, which they would know if they would search first.
You should try and figure things out for yourself first, and if you truly can't, then start down the line of resources to help find out the information.
your patronising comment was rather insulting tbh, not offended or anything just pointing it out. i have been enjoying the game for about a year now thanks ;)
i'm all for asking questions, however if the questions been asked multiple times before you ask ... chances are theres already an answer for you before you even ask.
logical deduction, its one of those human qualities that separate us from animals.
its really not a difficult thing to do, i'm not a prick .. i'm just tired of complacency becoming a normal thing.
Second, nothing defines Elitism like thinking you're the first and only person to ask a question about a game that is being actively developed and has a very busy discussion board. I mean, really, talk about self-important.
Third, there's nothing wrong with asking meaningful questions like "I just started, is there a map?" or "First time doing liquids, what's wrong with my pipes?" and things like that.
Asking "How do I jump", "How do I walk", or "Why can't I leave the game running while my computer is in sleep mode" (yes, this was a real question that was asked), is lazy and stupid.
Although, if you're game, there are guides here for how to walk, and how to jump. Believe it or not. I don't know which is worse; someone making them, or someone needing them.
Was I being condescending, or did you feel condescended? Your perception is not my problem, it's yours.
