I saw on google that you can raise up the limit of the player, is it true ?
Anyway, as of now i can not recommend to play it with more than one friend because it gets worse the more players join.
i'm planning to buy it with 2 more friends. Total 3 of us.
What's wrong with the MP actually? :(
The main issues are vehicles and enemies. As time goes on, the connection becomes more unstable until the host restarts the session. Vehicles can become extremely unstable, popping back and forth as you drive, or possibly even teleporting back to where the client originally entered once they exit the vehicle. I would recommend that clients don't even touch vehicles. There are jump pads, high-speed tube systems, and general sprint speed with an enhanced leg item can get the player around fairly quickly without the use of vehicles.
Enemies can become completely desynced from the client, causing them to be attacked by "invisible" creatures when their side doesn't update the actual position of the creature. If the client is good enough, you could potentially attack where the creature is and still kill it, but this would involve knowing the AI well enough to kill something where you think it is, rather than where you see it. Fortunately, once cleared, enemies will not respawn within a short radius around a factory, meaning the host could clear an area and everyone else can safely work within it.
Even with these issues, the game is still great fun, and I still recommend it. The devs are working to fix these issues, as they also plan to have dedicated servers, and obviously these issues can't persist or else everyone that joins the game would suffer. It's just something to keep in mind when getting into the game.
i'm change "network quality" in settings to the best possible value. This is slightly help with desynchronization with my 2 friends online.
