transfer from epic games?
i got the game on epic games a while back because it released there and i wanted to play it so bad, however now that its on steam i want it here. i despise with hatred epic games launcher. its slow, confusing, and steam is where every other game i own is. Plus steam has the community area like discussions, screenshots, and announcements for update. all im wondering is, is there a steam code i can get from epic games or do i have to suffer epic games launcher forever?

Just like in real life: Just because you bought a copy of a game at Best Buy does not mean you get it for free from Walmart or Target.

How would a steam code work? Coffee stain have no idea if you own the game, and epic are valves competitor.

As for egs being slow and confusing...its really not. Be honest about it, all your games are on steam and you want it there as well. And the only way to do that, is to rebuy it.

In Steam, do Games -> Add Non-Steam Game to My Library and point that to where EGS installed Satisfactory.

Steam supports using CD-Keys from other sources under the same menu that lets you add non-Steam games to your library.

So at the point the questions become: 1. Does EGS allow you to access your CD-Keys and 2. Has Coffee Stain setup allowing those CD-Keys to be redeemable on Steam.
This is covered in the FAQ. Here's a link for you: https://steamcommunity.com/app/526870/discussions/0/2155476542901066841/

This is the relevant section to your question:
Can I get a free copy on Steam if I own it on EPIC?
No.

Do the right thing and just buy it through Steam.

If you really like the game, like I do, then whats another 30 odd bucks to help them keep developing, think of Epic as a bonus early access year and besides you got heaps of free games from Epic so its not like it really cost that much. Well you could have.

As to it being slow on Epic. I have noticed in other Epic games that if you close down the Epic Launcher the game runs much better. This might be your problem.
