Später solltest Du das Öl nicht per Pipeline, sondern per Zug transportieren. Du schaffst eine wesentlich bessere Rate und sparst die ganzen Pipeline-Pumpen.
Und Zeit sollte besser kein Faktor sein, der Weg ist das Ziel. ;-)
Most people process the oil on site, there generally is enough space for the humongous refinery setups near the oil nodes, and dragging pipelines across the map is tedious. On the contrary, dragging power lines across the map is much much easier than it sounds. Once you've done it once, there won't be anything stopping you from dropping poles all over the place
