Rails on ramps

Why can't I build rails on ramps? I can build them on foundations but not ramps.

Yes there is a Mod which gives rails for ramps called Ramped Fences.

You will need the Satisfactory Mod manager installed first.

You can have rail on ramps but not the steepest 8x2 will work or 8x4 duble ramp

8 by 1 and 8 by 2 work well for rail road.
If you want steeper - you can alternate 8 by 2 and 8 by 4 but it will look ugly
