But since your reason is regarding burn-in, you only need to worry about burn-in on most OLEDs when displaying a static image onscreen for over 6 hours on very high brightness settings.
If you are under the 90% brightness level on your TV, you can leave static images on the screen exponentially longer than on the higher brightness levels.
I can confirm this because I often regularly leave my Toshiba 60" OLED on overnight duplicating my laptop's display which is often just a static image of whatever Google Chrome tab I last had opened, and I have no burn in whatsoever.
My brightness is set to 80, and I sometimes use Windows's built-in "night mode" which reduces blue light and may also prevent burn-in.
I'm not your dad, so I'm not going to tell you that you can't play for over 6 hours straight, but if you don't want to fiddle with your brightness or experiment with nightmode, you could even play 3 hours at a time with like a 10 minute break in between, burn-in will NEVER be an issue for you with a little discipline.
Gotta say this seems a little silly XD Guy said he likes to play hours on end, yet wants to disable the hud. You sure you still wanna say it's necessary? I wouldn't want to play without it personally, but I can certainly see how you COULD if you wanted to. Would probably at least want some form of hud toggle I suppose tho
