WIP super positional crystal oscillator?

After I Unlocked tier 7 I did a roam to track down a uranium deposit for future reference and came across a crash site that needed super positional crystal oscillators to function but I can't find the recipe for it. Am I missing it, is it a Work in Progress, or do I need to find a different crash site that has it?

There are 89 crash pods, 4 of which can't be opened as they require items not in the game yet.

@Aquafawks Thank You. You'd think at my age I'd remember that WIKI is actually pretty good at game information. My only defense is I'm still not used to games I like having an involved fan base.

I've suggested they remove these ludicrous crash site requirements until these recipes are implemented, but I don't think they're listening. I've also suggested they remove alternate recipes like Wet Concrete, Pure Ingots/Pure Quartz Crystal, Fine Concrete, Steamed Copper Sheet, Iron Alloy Ingots, Diluted Fuel, and all the other "nothing calls for this exact item" so they're not coming up in the hard drive recipe lists, but again, they're not interested.

All the recipes you listed are extremely helpful and useful (except fine concrete imo) what are you talking about?

You do know that these are ALTERNATE recipes and not whole new recipes right? The output is still plane ol concrete or ingots or whatever it produces, you just get more of them, or at a different rate/require different resources. The names are derived from the process involved in making them.

If the WIKI is right, even with the 4 "locked" crash sites there are currently more hard drives available than there are alternate recipes. (85 available HD, 72 current recipes)

That is correct, yes. It is currently possible to unlock all alternative recipes and still have hard drives left over.

For now, just stab a Beacon into the dirt near the crash site so you'll know where it is once Tier 8 becomes available. I used to think that the more difficult pods would provide better recipes but that doesn't seem to be the case. It seems to be completely random.

Hard drive results are mostly based on what's available to you at the time of researching them. You won't be getting alternate recipes for oil when you're still below tier 5 (unless you've already unlocked everything before that). If you start researching late, meaning you have access to pretty much everything, then the potential rewards are very random since it has everything to choose from.
