Does anyone know the save file location when using Steam Play?

Doing this from memory, so I hope I didn't forget anything. Go up from where the game installed, go into the "compatdata/526870/pfx/drive_c/Users/steamuser/" directory. Then they're either in the AppData or My Documents or something. Have a look around, shouldn't be too hard to find.

It tells you where the save location is every time you start the game. Read that message next time instead of clicking it off.

It does? Never actually noticed that. In any case, that would just be the part after "drive_c".

Whoops.. Experimental version tells you when you start. Sorry. I forgot normal version of the game doesn't show you.

EDIT: Here's a screenshot of the game start up in the Experimental version to show you the save file location: https://i.imgur.com/ClUfsL6.png

That's not where my files are saved. That's where the files are saved on a windows machine but in linux it is a different location. Coffee Stain, only tells you the Windows information not the Steam Play [Linux] information.

Well you're not playing it in the environment the game was designed for so no one could tell you where the game is saved in linux. You're on your own. Seems you figured it out though.

Actually the first person that responded knew where it was.

For future visitors of this page, when you have a question like this, at least look at the PC Gaming wiki. It has "Game Data" locations as one of the main topics, and it shows the location for Steamplay, as well as showing you where in the windows file system it is. Here's the link for this game, but there are many more (most?) games on there.
