There are diagonal sloped foundation pieces (facing both up and down) in 2 different foundation packs in the Awesome Shop. These fit the bill usually for places you'd want a diagonal foundation piece, mainly the upside down one (as the top is flat), but it would still be nice to have a normal diagonal foundation.

You can kind of fake those already. Just gotta place foundations at 45" angles into others. That's how a lot of the creative players get circular buildings.

This game uses a square snapping system. Its why you cant snap fences to ramps, properly.
Meaning the devs ether need to rework the building system or they need to trick the system to work (which has its own issues).

It's not an impossible task by any means to give triangular shaped foundations two snap points for something like fences and such. It's mostly a question of adding more possible use cases and of course making new meshes.

I would love triangular foundation pieces and fences to snap to the long edge of those triangles. I would also like fences to snap to the ramps and stair cases.

More triangles and half/quarter pieces please. And the ability to connect the hypertubes to the foundations to run them under your base.
