Game Freezes when AFK

I'm hoping someone has a solution here. My game works just fine when playing live, but if I go AFK for a bit and leave the game running, I come back and the game has just crashed and is frozen. The only way to close the game is I have to go to task manager and end task. I have a nice desktop with solid specs, so that is not the issue. Anyone else have this problem and able to resolve it? Try changing your power scheme by turning off sleep and hybernation mode, and set the computer into "performence mode".

Thanks for the reply. I did check my power settings, and my computer is already set to never sleep or hibernate. I do not have a sense of when the crash happens, since I'm not near the computer when it occurs.

That is weird. I have never had that specific issue before, even on a computer with lower than recommended/minimum specs.

I just went afk, and the game did it again. The rest of my computer is just fine. Just the game frozen. I even tried running as Administrator.

If you have some motherboard software, it often has it's own power saving mode, check if there is something like that there.

I'm having the same mystery right now. I go afk for a bit to use the restroom or cook dinner and I come back to the game having crashed along with steam.
