Satisfactory - Calculator Interactive map / download location

Been using this great utility today, Satisfactory-calculator.com, the interactive map portion. you can up load your save and do edits, there's an option to save the edit and download but it doesn't seem to actually download a file anywhere.
For the life of me I can't figure out what the issue is, I can't find the downloaded save file. I know that it's a new save file renamed with - calculator etc but it doesn't seem to actually download the file. maybe I'm missing some additional software or there's a version mismatch or something.
Has anyone used this and run into a similar problem?

no I'm asking where is the edited file that you can download. there's an option to click on "download save game" after you've made edits. it compiles the changes made as if it's generating a new save file but doesn't seem to actually download it. nothing shows up anywhere and it doesn't prompt the user with a download destination. etc

Did you solve this issue? I can't download the map either. The prepare window just closes and nothing happens.

Edit: just figured it out: It's not working in firefox. I tried it with Edge and it worked fine.

Works just fine in firefox, the download wont actually start until it's done compiling all the things in the save, once that's done the download will be wherever you have your browser set to download things.
I just tried it.
Then you have to move the file to the save location in satisfactory.
%localappdata%\FactoryGame\Saved\Savegames\
then they go in the random number folder...

Interesting thanks for the Info. I'll have to keep this in mind for the next update.

It's your browser settings that controls where and whether you're prompted for location, not the webpage.

That wasn't the issue at the time, it was something else with FF

I have used it before in edge without issues. Try checking the location where you place your downloads, or failing that, the last place you saved a download to.

for me i needed to turn off my pop-up / addBlockers then it would download the edited save file no probs. using Chrome.

I have everything working flawless in Firefox. I got to download multiple times from the interactive map. Maybe clean up the browser?
