no coal in the rocky desert?

stuck trying to get coal. found 3 nodes a few KM away from my base but there up on top of a massive mountain spent a few hours running around it and there doesnt seem to be any way up there with the gear i have even if i do manage to jump glitch up the walls and get thier no way i can path a belt back down.

the only other way i can go theres just far too many dangerous creatures that murder me in a couple of hits.

beta is beta or im missing something? or i started int eh wrong area and need a redo?

Concrete ramps and sky bridges are your friend in this game.

Haven't done the Rocky Desert (the one with the blue trees? In the Northwest?) but there's ground-level coal in the Dune Desert near the North side of the giant mesa.

hmm thanks , its going to take hours and thousands of concrete to build up to these nodes think i might of reached the pause time and wait for release or more content.

I think there's also a natural ramp that leads up to the far side of the waterfall from the coal deposits. Might save you some bridging.
