Dune desert

How do get into the dune desert? I have spent ages trying to find a way in. I am constantly getting stuck in the swamp and titan forest.

You can just sprint past the plant things which emit poison gas in the swamp; keep heading east. There's a group of 4 coal mines to the SE of the Northern Forest start next to a lake, that's right next to the dune desert area.

If you are in the titan forest, head NE. There should be a pretty large ravine which takes you down to the dune desert. If you want to see things on a map, here's the area:
