NO DRONES, ROBOTS OR ANY FLYING VEHICLES !!
Does not matter, Devs stance is clear on that.
Do you prefer to think in 3rd person in real life instead?
No, drones are annoying. I don't even use them in Factorio either.
One that allows me to build using a flying camera like thing would be neat, and a longer range one useable for exploring would also be cool. Especially if it could drop beacons for later visits.
I ask myself sometimes... What is even planned? To all the logical additions they apparently said nope. Except story.
I kinda don't like that. The direction this game goes seems a bit unclear. But I also don't watch their streams so, eh.
Your idea sounds nice op. The jetpack helps a lil bit it's still hard to place at some height.
And no matter how many times the devs have said something, isn't the entire point of EA to get feedback? Why not just call it a beta if all suggestions are just going to be shot down because years ago the devs said something about a feature?
In the context of Satisfactory, a similar flying ROV would probably only be able to use the build gun. A supplement to the lookout tower, if you will. It wouldn't be able to collect resources or other use weapons or tools. I imagine spitters would hate it. It would make building multilevel structures a lot less infuriating.
The idea is to manually build in 1st person near the ground, otherwise it would be like Factorio.
Check out the mod area effect. No need for an RC drone ;)
Devs say a lot of things but can change their view.
And they already did a few times. Like with Pipes.
So do us a favor, stop being such a lamo anti-creative person.
Let people make their suggestions and if the Developers wont do it, they wont do it.
But i doubt any developer needs you as a volunteering constant reminder of what they wont do.
