I haven't played online yet, but my "offline" world loads in less than 20 seconds on an SSD, but even if you're host on an HDD, I can't imagine it taking longer than a minute or two to load.
If I had to wait 10 minutes to play ANYTHING, I'd question whether I'd end up playing that game at all, but that's just me.
I have a very crappy computer, it's a miracle I can play this game at all, 10 minutes isn't an exaggeration. It takes about 5 minutes to load out, and another 5 minutes to load in. It takes the same amount of time if I host or play alone. Everytime I play it also maxes out my ram usage. I am very used to low framerates because of this too, so I don't consider a game unplayable until it drops below about 15fps. On average in a large factory I get around 15-20fps, when out in the wilderness or a smaller base I get 25-30fps.
This is my computer, look at the specs page: https://www.newegg.com/platinum-gray-lenovo-ideapad-320-15abr-80xs0024us-mainstream/p/1TS-000E-06RJ2
Hmm then I'm not sure what to to say, I've only seen a few games with an "I'm Stuck!" feature, which usually involved detecting if the player truly has nowhere to go (how this is accomplished, I do not know) and nudging them into a valid area, but I don't know the implications or difficulty of implementing such a feature in Satisfactory.
