Is this easy enough for a noob?
Will I find this way too complicated to get into or can it be picked up easily enough? Tips for starting out?

The beginning is very easy, but it becomes more complex over time.

Pretty easy. Once you get up to coal, you can further relax as your power generation becomes automated and infinite. There's really no punishment for mistakes since you can just deconstruct anything and get 100% of the resources back, and all building materials are infinite.

You learn as you play, which is true for everything. And yes it's easy, but it's also complex enough so it won't get boring later on.

When starting, sensible A.D.A. will help you allong the way in this new world.

You can use as much time you want - there's no stress or need for unlocking more things before you are comfortable with what you already have.

it's like Factorio in that it starts off simple, but as you get further along, it will get complex. the good thing in Satisfactory though is resources are not finite so you don't have to worry about having to find more when one area starts going dry.
I found that my experience doing complex train routing in Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe came in very handy when sorting out conveyor loads. How to keep throughput balanced laterally as well as vertically, how to deal with spikes, how to identify and manage bottlenecks, stuff like that. Best of all, there's no Local Authority here to refuse to allow anything!

Everyone’s a noob when they first start bro.

Not really, I'm 20 hours in and crafting things by hand seems much more viable than trying to figure out how to build a decent factory with how convoluted and resource hungry they become. Just beyond the basic level of making screws and plates and rods etc., making anything to any extent becomes unclear. Want to make an advanced product without it being excruciatingly slow? Oh that's cool looks like you need to learn to fabricate an extra 100 screws out of thin air every minute, because you already used up six ore deposits to make all the necessary components for advanced construction but its somehow not enough. Want to make MULTIPLE TYPES of advanced products at once? Good luck, even more screws because you'll need more of the first type to make a second product. Where do I get that many screws? Do I have to make another factory for my factory that just makes screw somewhere else on the map because I've already occupied all the ore here? An entire factory I built to make basic components for further processing, but I have literally nothing to show for it because the assembly machines are so hungry for more screws I can only run one assembler optimally. That's a whole massive factory, that took hours to build, resulting in a final product of 1 rotor every 15 seconds, when I could just sit and craft them by hand at much faster speeds. Also, good luck with the tutorial section of the codex, I'ts just a description on how to build the hub and generalized hints like "hey work towards the space elevator". A majority of building the hub is crafting things by hand as well, not automating anything, so you have no in game guide or reference to getting actually started with what is supposed to be the point of the game, building factories. I'd cave in and resort to going by a walkthrough but SIKE no I won't. What is this, a lego set? Building things step by step by a guide, and for what? You don't have a cool lego set by the end of it, you just have a factory that works that YOU didn't design, have fun making the next one exactly the same because those need to work to. So yeah, I wouldn't bother with this game. Funnily enough, even disorganized spaghetti can get you way farther in factorio and you might just have fun doing it too.

To make screws you have to dedicate an entire iron ore vein. A single Refinery should be connected to 2 constructors to make iron rods. Those 2 constructors should be connected to 3 constructors to make screws. You have to look at the production rates and quantities to see how much each building consumes and produces per minute.

So your setup should look like this:

Iron Ore Vein (normal) with level 1 Miner

Miner->splitter->2 refineries->2 splitters->4 constructors (iron rods)->2 mergers->2 splitters-6 constuctors(screws)->2 mergers
That produces about 120 screws per minute. THis is more than enough because you mostly only need the screws for reinforced plates. Although you do need a few rotors you can just switch over your screw line to produce the few rotors you need.

With the level 2 miner you can double the whole setup to produce 240 screws which allows you to produce both rotors and reinforced plates simultaneously. This is also the time when you start needing lots of rotors.

I strongly recommend setting up the double screw line vertically instead of horizontally by abusing the ability to build 10 floors connected only by a single section of wall.

I mean you could wall the whole thing off to make it look like a real building.

Easy start. It's step by step. You learn then how to use more and more. Sure, at the beginning, every game is complicated ;-) But the tutorial is very smart. If you like to optimize things and like logistics, then it's very easy, every time.

Pretty easy especially as you can just deconstructed and rebuild till you get it right :)

I am so glad I got the 'Steel Screws' recipe from a hard drive... 1 steel plate to 52 screws is so damn good.

The only complication is in how efficient you want to be.
Your factory can be as large or compact as you want, as tall or wide as you want, and as messy or organised as you want.
The recipe's don't get REALLY awkward until tier 5/6, where you start to manufacturer higher tier items from multiple assembled items. I'm still yet to automate those properly.

If all else fails, everything is infinite, so as long as your power is sorted you can doss around on the map, exploring and killing the local wildlife to your heart's content.
