Limestone mining
2/3 Limestone mining spots I found dont allow me to place Miners MK1. Because they are too close to a rock wall. Are there other people with that problem?

Even if you rotate the miner using the scroll wheel? I can't think CS would place a cliffface to block a mine - Everything is hand placed.

Some of them, iirc, have boulders on it which you can evantually blast away.

And always there is a bulb in the middle to be harvested in advance.

Maybe send a pic.

No, never found one of those, as phillip_lynx have said some of them have boulders, later in the game you can blast them with a new gear item.

I don't remember if there are limestone nodes that have cracked boulders on them. Are you sure you're just not removing the deposits that are sitting in the middle of them by holding E until they break?

To be fair I’ve been chipping away at the same limestone deposit for roughly 3 hours in total and it’s not broken away in order for me to place any sort of miner it’s becoming slightly tedious

If it is for 3 hours, you are chipping away on the node itself, not the central bolder. Can you post a picture of what you are chipping?

The thread is THREE YEARS OLD. Stop necroposting I beg of you. Read the dang dates before performing thread necromancy for no good reason.

*Laughts in the knowledge that a thread for Euro Truck Simulator 2 already recieved a 7 year necro this year with a comment that was basically just a "+1"*

I have asked in another forum whether there is a possibility to auto close threads after half a year without a post. This was rejected as not useful.

Also, isn't it better to use an old thread than a new one with the same content so the mod doesn't always have to merge threads.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
