How to build a biomass burner?

Checked the wiki and Googled, and can't find an answer to this, or the info seems outdated.

I am on Hub upgrade 5, and the wiki says I was supposed to get another biomass burner after completing 4, but there is still just one there. There is no option to build a biomass burner in the build menu, nor at the two workbench spots (Hub and the other early one you place that makes miners).

So, how do I build another biomass burner? I read all over I should shoot for coal quickly, but I doubt I'm anywhere near doing that atm. Was I supposed to get one automatically after completing 4, and after that do they become available to build eventually?

The HUB has two burners next to each other. You need to research to unlock buildable ones.

the generators and biomass are unlocked on the last subtier (6 i believe). could be that the information on the wiki is outdated as update 3 that launched right before the steam launch changed a lot of stuff

subtier 4 unlocks the second of the 2 HUB generators

go to the hub and read through what the upgrades unlock/unlocked, the early upgrades unlock lots of stuff and its easy to get confused.

Well, I'm on Hub upgrade 5 which says it unlocks the storage container and a miner. It is the last upgrade for Tier 0, and it will not let me click on the locked tiers to see what they build, so not sure how I can read through what gets unlocked later.

Hub 4 did not give me a second biomass burner, unless I have to build it somehow, and like I said, I don't see the option to build it anywhere.

HUB has two burners. The one that gets unlocked second is next to the first one, to your right.

i ment for you read back on the previously unlocked hub upgrades to familarise yourself with what you have unlocked thus far.

as stated the 2nd burner is next to the 1st burner on the end of the hub.

Thanks for replies, turns out you get the 2nd burner after completing Hub 5 (not 4), and you get the ability to build them after Hub 6.

You unlock it after 6 like people have said.

Yes you are a long way from coal. For me I end up using 5-6 additional biomass burners before I can replace it with coal. It isnt too bad keeping the biomass ones going but I suggest a factory line chewing through leaves and wood turning in to biomass and eventually solid biofuel to use in the burners. You have to manually fill them so it is a pain but then coal comes with its own pain..... water pumping.... *shudder*

Oh and get to the chainsaw to make it much quicker...
