frozen player in game

Is anyone have the same issue as me. When you save the game and load the game you see your character last saved location, this in solo offline mode, I'm continuously having this issue can anyone help me fix it?

That is the effect of playing offline.
The game is creating multiplayer session and cause you offline, it does not recognize you as old player and create new one.

Ive been getting stuck on the occasional tree, so now I carry a chainsaw EVERYWHERE !

Oh man how useless is that reebar gun though, its like loading a crossbow slow, I tossed it the zeno basher is just faster and easier.

If you build a conveyor and are inside its bounding box, you also get stuck there, but you can just disassemble to free yourself.
The tree stick issue is a bad bug Im sure they are onto.

Euh perhaps read the OP post, I am pretty sure he is not speaking about getting stuckon trees or between belts ;)

But I think Snip is onto something, though it is hard to figure out what the real problem is of the OP, as for me every game I played solo/offline saved correctly and loaded me at the las saved character spot before quiting the game. And this seems expected behaviour for me as I want to continue where I left last save.

Some one on Reddit was reporting, that if you do manual save be for exiting the game in offline mode.
After starting the game and loading it from manual Save, you will spawn normal where you left the game.
But is you use Autosave, you get the Ghost player bug.

Did not tested that, so can not confirm.

Actually you just have to be online while creating the session and afterwards until you finished loading in.

You need to check if you're logged in with your username, if you get "Player 514" for example you will create a ghost at the next login and loose everything in the inventory.

This damn bug got me in the beginning too... also if you start the game not using the epic launcher you'll always create the ghost afaik.

Well I havent had that specific ghost bug yet, I always manually save a game before quitting, I would have just thought that was standard for everyone ?
Otherwise wont you loose a few minutes data relying on the auto save ?

Can you start the game from a launcher in its root drive folder or something ?

Ive only ever used EPIC to launch it, why wouldnt you use EPIC launcher to start it ?

But getting stuck on a tree, man, daily annoyance.
Need to ''respawn'' everytime which isnt so bad, Ive seen much worse solutions in EA games.

The game has very few bugs though for its complexity, I have mk4 conveyors all over map running stuff back to base, the tree stuck bug is about all Ive had, its been incredible really.

I will never be playing online, how can i disable this bug? I don't want to have top connect every time I play TBH. I also don't want the hassle of this bug.

If and/or when they fix this you will need to be connected to play without this issue.
