Actually, I am thinking about trying to push the ticket production to the limit and seeing how many turbo motors per minute I could make with the available resources. Which, according to my quick and rough math, should be around 60 per minute, maybe even more since I didn't really think about the alt recipies for plastic using the new byproducts of refineries. And yes, I know that it's an absolutely mental idea that will involve thousands of production buildings, hundreds of hours, and that my framerate will be in the single digits. I know all that, and I still want to do it, because it's the first time I felt like I have an interesting goal to aim for in the game. I want to have a reason to exploit almost every resource node in the game, and have a transport network spanning the whole map.
I'm not sure why you believe nuclear fuel rods yield the best points, they don't. You'd need 48 fuel rods to get the same amount of points you'd get for a single turbo motor.
Actually, I'm pretty sure that you wouldn't be able to make as many points as a single manufacturer producing motors, even if you used every single uranium node in the game to produce the fuel rods. The maximum is just 84 fuel rods per minute. And you can make 2.8
turbo motors per minute with the alt recipe. You'd need 135 rods every minute to match that.
By the time you get to the Turbo Motors, there really isn't any point in recycling anything else. Even the next best item, Supercomputer, goes for only 1.33 million points, compared to 10.8 million gained by turbo motors.
