Great, that's what the world needed: ANOTHER store platform, because splitting up your games at Steam, Uplay, Origin, Battle.net, etc. wasn't enough of a hassle.

Depends how bad Epic Launcher is. Valve taking a 30% cut of sales is a legitimate reason for developers to do disruptive things. I don't like it, but I can't reasonably expect developers not to resist and disrupt.

Would be interesting if one day we had a launcher for each game... and an account..

Now *THAT* would suck.

Too many already that require seperate accounts even within steam.. *cough* rockstar *cough* .. I've not purchased a rockstar game just because of that crap.

Not even installed the ones I own.. and really .. I dont miss em.

Well, I can't say I'm displeased with leaving Steam. Now if the game was released as a standalone without the need for another 3rd party program I'd be even more pleased.

As it stands now, I won't be getting the Epic Launcher.

Just checked the Epic Games store & Satisfactory is indeed listed there. Well, looks like I won't be buying it. Thanks, Coffee Stain. Money saved.

I feel the Coffee Stain are kicking themselves in the foot with this switch. Sure, you're going to make an extra 18% on every sale, but people like having there games in the one place. Having to keep track of another account & download yet another launcher, yeah, I don't see a lot of people doing that.

I already have an Epic Games account & Satisfactory was a day 1 purchase for me, but not any more.

They must have agreed to some sort of exclusivity deal...
