Can't progress in Free Mode.

I'm stuck with Zooplankton in Free Mode. I have no idea how to get the Broth of Life outside of story mode and no more Zooplankton is spawning.

how did you even get free mode? I only have the campaign and challenge mode available to me.

If you play through the tutorial after you complete Episode 1 you get free mode.

Oh! Yeah, we've heard a few issues like this and are looking into it with the Developers so we can get it fixed up and playable for you. Thanks for your patience while we figure it out!

I began having the same problem, but for me they evolved eventually without the broth of life. turned out i just needed atleast 25% water on the map. about 1 mill cy the first plant came.

I tried the method that Nalidus suggested and it worked! I now have a somewhat flourishing planet of dinosaurs, plants, and insects. It's 3 days later and all the devs have done so far is release a few DLC's. I'd be satisfied with a quick hotfix repairing this bug only so the game is at least playable without redoing the tutorial.

Not a bug... just extremely painful in larger maps. You need somewhere around 20% water on your map to spawn stromatalites. (spelling?)

Easier to start in a Mini or Small freemode map and then port it up in size. (Save, then open a new free mode, bigger map, and load your previous free mode save.)
