Have I bricked my file? australopithecus went extinct and i have no more fruit of knowledge. can I continue on to make humans? or do I need to go back to an older save?

ancient human immediately become extinct as soon as they appear! They don't appear on their own. I have to use seed of evolution to create them in numbers of 430 (seed of mutation does not create humans). Even tried to save their code with mesteriou glass jar, but they appeared and progressively became extinct. I'm completing an episode with people, and I've reached the stage with ancient humans.
