How do I quit the game?
Ok, I don't deem that an issue, but I haven't found a way of quitting the game other than ALT+F4.

Is there some specific button in the main menu perchance?

Hehehehhe xD

Let's hope they release some kind of patch.

You have to first finish the tutorial, got the same problem at first, then you'll be able to quit, Navi will teach you about how to open the menu etc...

definitely need to patch in a skip the tutorial button after going through it once

Looks like the devs figured we should all play in windowed mode to have access to the X button in the upper right. Ctrl+alt+del or alt+f4 also works. :steamfacepalm:

just one small problem with using the task-manager or Alt+F4 : it doesn't save your settings, by the looks of it, when you do that

.. I have to change from windowed-mode -> fullscreen each and every time I start up the game, at least .. hardly game-breaking, but it's a bit annoying

but well, it's obviously a console port, and I suppose they don't really need a "quit game" option; they have the power-button on their machines

Hey, just listed that in a new thread: http://steamcommunity.com/app/525700/discussions/0/1334600128973751767/

EDIT: hmmmm, now I know why the game keeps "forgetting" my settings.

I couldn't got out with task manager, but Alt+F4 worked for me.
Quite the hazzle just to leave a game. :S
Was stuck before I found this thread.

How can a game be released like this. Its like spitting in the face of pc gamers. Seriously, something as basic as Exit wasn't incorporated? Basic graphic settings? I've seen lazy ports but this is by far the laziest. This company will not get further sales from me. Refund time.

Shame you wont give the game a chance because of it this, as the game(simulator more like) is very enjoyable once you come to grips with the controls. And knowing basics about evolution, ecosystems and such helps a lot.
The gamepad controls works quite alright, once you get used to them.
PC controls on the other end I agree are horrible...

Hi guys,

The lack of an in-game way to exit the game has been reported to the developers.

Thank you for all the feedback, dood!

Any buttons really. It seems there are no options whatsoever.

Has the developer ever seen a PC or PC game in recent history?
Why this blind intent to reinvent the wheel...

No configurations to speak of (notably missing would be keybinding), no 'user profile' so you get to re-enter your name repeatedly, and one of the most obnoxious hand-hold-y tutorials I've seen in recent history that subsequently refuses to provide any context once you clicked though navi's yapping.

I'm sorry? I missed what you said there Navi? Oh, guess I'll have to alt-F4 and start over now cause there is no save function here or any other relevant interface to interact with... And that is my first few minutes in the game.

First impressions could definitely be better.
