Is it just me or someone else has the same issue?

Was wondering who all everyone's favorite characters in the game is if you have any? When I played the original a few years ago, my first favorite was Joshua, but my favorites now are Cheshire Cat and Allen! Stella is my favorite girl also~

In every one of the kids' rooms there is a list on the wall next to the bed. At the bottom of the list is a drawing of an animal. Allen: rabbit Letty: dove Chelsy: cat Joshua: lion Stella: zebra Is there any significance to this? I don't see how this all relates to the characters and I don't think it's brought up anywhere else in the game....

It's all lore related, because I'd like to learn more about this since it's very interesting. I know that there's a novel and I plan on reading it So for questions: 1. I noticed all children present classic stories (Allen=Alice, Chelsy=Red Riding Hood, Letty and Rick=Hanzel and Gretel). But what about Joshua, Stella and Teacher? I get that Joshua might be a boy who cried wolf but I have no idea about the rest 2. Is there any answer to what XXXX is? Or do we just have some vague hints about it? 3. Is Rabbit...
