Is there any downside to fairize?

The game says it's important to know when to go in and out of fury mode, but as far as I can tell, staying in fury mode doesn't seem to deplete tension or SP or have any other sort of cost.
Am I missing something, or is there just no reason not to fairize if possible?

There is no downsides, at least did'n noticed.
I was paying attention at fist too, but later forgot and all was ok anyway.

well the fairy skills use alot of SP and take your HP too.

Well, if not use them there is no downsides, just extra steroids for ur stats.

In Fairize getting hit reduces tension, so eventually you will drop out of the mode if you take a lot of damage. Its useful to make sure you dont drop out at a bad time since your stats will take a large drop.

That said, there isnt really any reason not to Fairize. On harder modes especially you will need all the stats you can get.
