Still being developed?
The discussion section looks pretty dead, is this still being worked on by the dev team?

This game is dead, until such time the developers get active on these boards and actually start pushing out updates. Apparently the developers run a business (IronBelly Studios) creating content and selling it on the Unreal Marketplace as well as Unity store, and have stopped working on this. If you look at recent updates, you'll see just how rarely they were pushing out updates. My guess is they bought in early thinking there was enough money in VR to make a substantial profit but sales did not yield enough to continue funding development of this game, but that's just my speculation.

My guess is that they just rolled a bunch of assets they had already created together to make a tech demo/proof of concept, and sold that as a game. If they had any intergrity they would remove the game off the market place until such time as intend to actually make a game. I took a risk with early access. Thats on me. However, all the new 'players' dont deserve to buy a game that is clearly currently abandonware.

Thanks for the warning.

So sick of buying early access games and VR games that just get abandoned. This is the final straw for me, will not buy any more early access games whatsoever. I've learned my lesson, although it does seem to have taken me long enough for this to sink into my thick skull.

Never ever buy an early access game...no matter how good or how promising it looks.

I hear you there GeordieMarv. I love VR and want to support developers who are bringing us great vr experiences, but shovelware like this makes it hard to know who to trust.

Same here, I won't make this mistake again. Sorry to all those honest devs who can use the early support, but one bad apple . . .

To be fair its more than one bad apple, id say atleast 10% of early access games are abandonware, or released with such a limited scope that its barely resembles what was promised.

You would THINK that would be illegal......

I"m pretty sure it is actually. False advertising or some such thing.

But, hey.. at least it wasn't like $60 or anything.

It really depends Mr. Bacon. In the U.S. consumer protection laws are very weak, and even wherein they are strong it often comes down to a matter of enforcement. Enforcement however is often the first victim of political agendas. I've heard the both the UK and Austrelia have much stronger consumer advocacy laws.

I, too, wonder. This looked like it would be a nice game.
