Consistent crash on PS5
I know it's not the right platform, but I'm getting a very consistent crash on PS5 when I try to descend into the crater after the worm enemies introduction. Is there any fix aside from reinstalling?

A lot of people reported this on reddit as well, and since the game is a PS4 one which has never received a PS5 patch or upgrade, the crashes always happen around the same area, and these crashes do not happen on PS4, it's very likely that the crashes aren't caused by the game but by the backwards compatibility of the PS5.
A workaround which worked for some is to simply go as fast as you can trhough the area without stopping to fight enemies, but i doubt it's a properly viable solution since some main events of the game take place right in the crater so you'll be forced to spend some time in it.
In this post on reddit someone suggested to disable VRR and HDR for unsupported games in the PS5 video settings, but no one reported back to confirm if it worked or not.

If none of that works, then there's no fix, as i said it's likely an issue with the PS5 backward compatibility rather than with the game itself, so it'd be up to Sony to fix it.

Thanks, I enjoy the game, but being completely unable to play because of the crashing really brings my will to play down.

Hey there. I'm actually the guy who made that post the other person linked. Anyways, what worked for me was turning off online/network features for the game. Somebody else suggested to turn off HDR and VRR which I also did, but I think turning off network features do the trick.

It might be different for you though. I've seen people who've had no problems with the game on PS5. Somebody also suggested to rebuild database for the PS5.

I don't know if you still need help, but I thought I might as well comment. :D
