(SOLVED) Cutscene won't play. Playing as 9S trying to help out 2B while she's in the factory with the religious machines.
I'm playing through the 9S route. I have to help out 2B while she deals with the religious machines. There's supposed to be a cutscene that plays when I go into Bunker's server to start hacking into the factory but instead when I load in I am stuck as the little white hacking ship and all I can do is spin in circles.
I tried searching fro solutions but this seems to be a really specific/niche issue. Any help is appreciated
(SOLVED) All I had to do was reinstall the game

Are you using SpecialK/Far and have uncapped the FPS above 60? If so, keep the FPS capped at 60, going above 60 during certain sections can cause events and/or cutscenes to not trigger properly(even if SpecialK/FAR has a system in place to automatically revert to 60fps to avoid these issues, it sometimes fails) and result in softlocks like yours. Keep in mind you will still have to replay the section, locking the FPS at 60 after the issue occurred won't fix it.

If you are using SK/FAR but haven't uncapped the FPS above 60, or if you aren't using SK/FAR at all, verify the game files in steam.

If you are using any sort of cutscene mod(upscaled ones, or 60fps ones, or any at all), it's likely an issue with that specific cutscene in that specific mod, so remove the mod, and verify the game files in steam.

I am not using any mods at all. Is it imperative that I install SpecialK/FAR in order to continue playing?

No, on the contrary, what i was saying is that IF you are using SK/FAR, which allows to uncap the fps, that might have been the cause of the issue, but if you aren't using any mod, then that's clearly not the case.

Just try and verify the game files in steam.

Okay, so I tried verifying my files but that didn't work.
