So, are the Game of the YoRHA Edition changes applying to the old editions as well?
I got this game pretty much a few months later after its release on Steam. Got to play it through the famous QoL improvement mod and all, but I beated it. I was considering to go back to it, and then I read about the new patches and the game's prior release being replaced by the Game of th YoRHA Edition.

What are those changes exactly, and how many of them have been applied to the game's old release?
Also, is the DLC content really available for everyone already owning the game? Or do I need to purchase it first? I'm confused since I never purchased it before, and I can't see it in my library after the update.

Just feeling a bit confused, that's all.
Thank you kindly in advance.

The patches and updates have nothing to do with the Game Of The YoRHa Edition.
Game Of the YoRHa Edition = base game + DLC + some cosmetic accessories and pod skins.
The patches and updates are for the base game, and since the YoRHa Edition includes the base game, the patches are for ALL versions of the game, YoRHa Edition or not.

If you already played through the game, the changes are nothing that will stand out visually or that you would even notice at all, as most of them are fixes rather than upgrades:
they added borderless
fixed all the fullscreen issues that made FAR mod a requirement(FAR/Special K is still needed if you want to use the HD texture mod)
fixed the mouse staying on screen
added fidelity FX CAS(not to be confused with Fidelity FX FSR, CAS is just Contrast Adaptative Sharpening, it essentially helps sharpening the image if the AA blurs it too much, and the way it was implemented in this game is ugly and just makes the image crispier, it's better left off)
added HDR
some Anti-Aliasing adjustment to the MSAA settings to make them less taxing(they're still incredibly taxing, just a tad bit less)
added Global Illumination setting(the exact same setting that was present inside FAR settings, except in game)
updated UI textures to support 4K resolution(only UI textures, nothing else)
and allegedly 60fps cutscenes, but thats a pretty much false claim: all they did is double each frame while halving its duration, which means that while technically the cutscenes are indeed at 60fps, each frame is displayed twice in a row, so each frame lasts on screen 33.3 milliseconds, which is the exact same time as 30fps, except fps counters will now display 60 cause technically there are indeed 60fps being rendered.

Sadly this update also brought in some drawbacks:
in previous versions of the game, the resolution of the ambient occlusion and bloom effect was fixed, but FAR could be used to change it and increase it, but now they made these effects resolutions dynamic based on the screen resolution(they're essentially as low as the older game version left them), and FAR can no longer change this.
the AO setting is essentiall non-functional, it cant be turned off(there's a mod which makes it functional, but also does other stuff)
AO now bleed through objects, meaning that you will essentially see a "shadow" of some object behind buildings etc.

As for the DLC, if you bought the game before the Game of the YoRHa Edition was released, then you need to buy it if you want it, the base game has not been automatically upgrade to YoRHa Edition, and you can't even upgrade to it at all(the only way is to entirely remove the game from your account via steam support, and then buy it again), but since the YoRHa edition is just base game + dlc + a small handful of cosmetic items, buying the DLC will give you the exact same game content as the YoRHa Editon minus the cosmetics, which imho are useless.
