Black screen + What's happening with second .exe file? (Solved, at least for me)

Hello!
1) When I launch game (with a green button or with NieRAutomata.exe) game window appears and shows black screen, waited for a 10 minutes once and nothing happened, no sound appeared too.
2) Also noticed one strange thing:
When I launch game for a first time, “Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?” appears (app name is Steam Client Service).
2a) If I click yes, 4 files in game folder disappear. Verifying the integrity of game files show 4 files are missing and make them being downloaded again.
2b) If I click no, then those 4 files stays, that message of asking for allowing changes will appear again next time I launch game till I agree.
Those 4 disappearing files are: NieRAutomataCompat.exe, installation_os_check.vdf, win8_7_setup.bat, win10setup.bat

Played more than 100 h of this game long before summer update, on same computer, didn't have any problems launching it.
Never installed FAR.

This game has been giving me issues too lately. My old PC, which was way weaker than this one, ran the game fine, but my current PC crashes, only on this game, after an hour or so

Also forgot to add up, nvidia drivers for my 1050ti seems up to date according to geforce experience.
I kinda made peace with the fact that maybe I won't experience this wonderful game again, at least on same pc/platform.

No idea about the fact it black screens without launching, but the 4 files disappearing is normal, after the recent update they added an OS check at first boot, so when you first launch it it'll check which OS you are running(10/8 or 7 i think), and delete/keep the needed files accordingly.
Verifying the game files will always redownload those 4 files, which means the OS check will happen again each time you verify the game files.

I will try to use older nvidia drivers, can't think of what changed else from last time I played game without problems.

Just wow!!!!!
Before messing up with drivers I tried one (crazy?) thing.
I made file integrity again. Got that NieRAutomataCompat.exe file.
Moved NieRAutomata.exe from folder.
Deleted installation_os_check (to prevent it from removing NieRAutomataCompat.exe)

Game actually launches! I can see that black loading screen again.. save slots being launched fine.

Need to open game from now on through NieRAutomataCompat.exe, steam app shows that game is on.
When trying to launch with green button, it downloads frist .exe again, which(!) makes both .exe files open game window with black screen.

Anyway, very curious now why normal .exe show black screen in my case.
I'm a complete noob/not an expert but maybe removing NieRAutomata.exe and launching game with NieRAutomataCompat.exe will help some rare people facing this problem.

have exactly the same problem, been trying anything i could find. even this didn't work for me. no idea what to even try anymore lmao
