Top 5 Fave weapons

1) Demons Cry (killing one enemy melts everything else around it. Op as fk against groups lol)

2) Angels Folly (killing enemies heals you. Again op as fk in groups. Basically Deadly Heal)

3) Spear of the Usurper (Turncoat is kinda op at lower levels. Having an enemy fight with you can make some battles a lot easier)

4) Cypress Stick (Main reason is I like seeing the alternate treasure chests lol but the high crits is good too)

5) Iron Pipe (I put this just cause it seems to synergize well with Cypress Stick being critical + too)

Honorable mentions to the Virtuos weapons as well cause extra attack at full hp is not bad either but they just miss out on my top 5 sadly

Actually, thanks for suggestions, sort of. I am still trying to figure good weapon matches so I'm gonna try some more and see if I like them better. (Type 40 IS awesome, by the way)

You won't get the special abilities for each weapon until much later so they don't really come into their own for a long time. Until then it appears to be mainly stats/preference/looks I guess. I prefer bracers just cause of their speed but I guess choose weapons with good tier 2 abilities. Iron Pipe does a lot of damage weirdly so the critical +must be high

Most of my weapons are lv4, though. I am currently dual wielding 1h sword, type 40 and that crit sword only to see 2B do the awesome dual strike. I tried gauntlet but it's very hard to match to another weapon or even to itself. The spear however works wonder with 1h.

I am trying really badly to find a build I'm comfortable with but it's pretty hard, I dunno.

Took me a while to decide also bit once I started getting more items and money than I needed and upgrading everything to level 4 I realised what I wanted after playing with them all. Having all enemies blow up when you kill one is just ridiculous(demons cry). Angels Folly loses some appeal for me against bosses or single targets though because the heal is only when you kill something. The same reason deadly heal is useless against a single target enemy imom against groups these two are OP imo though

I don't think I have demon's cry. Not sure. I know for sure I didn't get all weapons yet. Many of them so far look very fun to dual. Double long sword is slow but ridiculously OP in term of raw power. Still have to figure where to find the good stuff then use it well. The arena battles are incredibly hard to deal with too. BUT anyway, sorry for offtopic randomness...

I went off slow powerful weapons because until you get resilience chips you just get interrupted all the time. I prefer quick weaker weapons. Tbh though it's mainly cause of devil's hatred ability that makes everything around whatever you kill explode. Only demons cry gets this

I equipped Cypress Stick as a secondary because I like seeing the red and yellow treasure chests instead of the default ones. They look like dragon quest chests :)

Getting Angels Folly is annoying though as it requires moving emil outside the resistance camp which is luck based

On the subject of plug in chips I stacked deadly heal, offensive heal, and auto heal for most of the game. I was practically invincible. When I was too op to need healing I just stacked weapon atk and ranged atk and exp +

Also I always had drop rate 90%, auto collect items, and item scan on.
