once you will finish the first two playthrows its become like a totaly new game
You cant safe a game with boring gameplay with story.
I already uninstalled it yesterday.
I gave it an honest chance imo. But if you are 10 hours in there should be something that got your attention.
RDR2, witcher 3, nioh are all a bit slow at the beginning but thats because they are big and complex. That doesnt really seem to be the case here imo.
Its not that i have no patience with slow games. It just doesnt feel worth it.
Thx for the comments.
Yes technically its a bit frustrating too. But that would not kill it for me tbh.
Its more a gamplay issue for me and playing with gamepade feels alright.
Well i sure know this feeling of playing a game that you dont really like.
But often its just a slow burner and you should not drop a game too early i think.
But when i'm really sure i have no fun anymore i usually will drop it nowadays.
Other games only picked up pace after some time and i ended up loving them. Its always a bit difficult.
But i'm too old playing games i dont like :D
Terrible balance, tons of healing items (which are also automatically used), an empty world without secrets (because you can’t even open chests on the first playthrough), repeating the same thing on the second playthrough, terrible drawn-out secondary missions, purchasable achievements, character level system... and this is not the whole list.
All, except for the music and the plot is done badly.
Well thx for the backup. At least i'm not the only one.
I think there is some potential but many things are just not that well done. Like you said.
And agree on the bad maps. Took awhile to get used to and YouTube vids.
Square Enix even includes a joke about it in game where 9S goes.
"These maps are horrible" and 2B replies "They are good enough for you to get a rough idea on where u need to go"
Anyhow, Nier is really a grind game where u get good weapons and fuse chips on 2B farm and get powerful and then hack and slash in a boring fashion where u feel God like.
Never seen such crap tbh 🤣
That makes it hard to navigate when you open the map and its annoying.
Mini map is stupid as well but because the indicators that are far away are not actually at the edge of the map.
Best game ever made? I mean you can like the game i have no problem with that. I also see some charm in the game and maybe you really start to love the story at some point but you cant actually be serious with that.
Game already get repetative 10 hours in and while i have heard comat changes a bit the vast majority of the Internet seems to agree gameplay is not really strong with that game. World design is bad as well.
I also like some flawed games others might not like but i know them flaws and would never try to hide them.
And to call a game best every just because the story is good is just not right.
