Desert Trial 5 bugged

Trial 5 is the one where you have to defeat enemies without falling from a small block, touching the ground means failing instantly.

Now here's my problem, the enemies in this trial are invincible for some reason and I don't mean they take barely any damage, they really don't take any damage at all. I even tried a one hit kill cheat and still nothing.

Well, thanks for no help at all.
It seems the game has a strange way of handling damage based on character level and not just on your damage and weapon data. I don't know what's the threshold but if you're a certain amount of levels below your enemy you just won't deal any damage to them, doesn't matter how good or powerful your equipment is.
