Emil Memories in Route B?

So I was able to do Emil's memories sidequest in both PC and Switch version during route A. My sister is playing it on the switch and she accidentally locked herself out of the quest by doing the Flooded City boss. She found every Lunar Tear and was given the key to the elevator, and the key is still in her inventory. She's seen Emil and bought something from his store as 9S, but she can't use the elevator. I had a bug where I had to go back to a save 10 hours prior for 6O's sidequest because I had a Desert Rose in my inventory when I got the quest and did quests before I attempted hers, so if she has the key in route B will she be unable to do the quest? I know you can do it on chapter select but I just finished the keepsakes quest and I know she would be upset if she missed out on both during her initial playthrough, especially since Replicant 1.22 was both our first Nier game and Emil is one of the best characters in the series.

No - you can do it again in route B, but you have to find all the Tears again - all that happens when you get the second key is you are told "inventory full".
