How to equip DLC outfits?
I have all DLC's that go with his game, but I can only wear the standard outfit.

Do I really have to complete the game before I can actually use those? If so, it seems rather pointless to have bought them at this point, for I may not come to complete it at all.

As it says on the store page for the DLC:
To enjoy this content you will need to have progressed a certain way into the main story of the game. There are also some scenes during the progression of the main game scenario in which this content cannot be accessed.
So yes, the outfits aren't accessible from the get go.
Also, the core of the DLC is 3 fighting arena(that will become available only after proceding in the story until a certain point), and the outfits are the rewards for completing each of these arenas.
Adding to this, the final ranks of each arena(beating these is what will give the outfits) are difficult challenges that require a high level to be doable, around level 70-80, while the entire game will only bring the player to about level 50-60.
To summarize, the core of the DLC is pretty much post game content(although the arenas themselves will become available much earlier, and the first levels are doable from lvl 20 or so), with the outfits being the reward for completing challenging fighting arenas.

You bought the game with no intention to complete it?

Yes and no...
I recognized it to be the kind of games that I like a lot, i.e. melee chicks with swords and daggers. But I'm not sure if I'll be able to complete the game at top level.

Atm, I'm stuck with two quests at the rebel base. One is to find a music box (which I believed to have found in the desert already), and another is to locate a missing rebel member at the base. I searched all over the base, especially the area that was marked red, but I find nothing there.

So the red mark on the map for the missing rebel quest is NEAR the resistance camp but its not in it. So its easy to get confused, its actually in the Flooded City which is near the resistance camp so thats why you see the red marker on the resistance camp but you can never get to the center of it.

that's pretty much what I am experiencing indeed!

The rebel camp is entirely covered with a red spot on my map.

I have been to the amusement park already, where I destroyed a blue tank. But at this point, I don't know how to progress, The main quest marker appears to be behind a fence there that I can't get through.

Btw, a few minutes ago I also found a golden tank in the desert, but I wasn't able to destroy it yet (I'm level 15 now).
